NOMA Escapes Ltd 2026 — UK Events Terms & Conditions 

These terms apply to UK-based NOMA Events only (e.g., walks, brunches, workshops, local gatherings). 
For our group trips or packages, the NOMA Escapes Trips T&Cs also apply.

Your participation in the NOMA Community App is subject to the Noma Escapes Membership” T&Cs and Community Guidelines in addition to these Event T&Cs.

Social media and media consent
Photos and videos may be captured during events and used on NOMA channels (website, email, and social media).

If you do not wish to appear, you must notify hello@nomaescapes.com in writing before the event. We will take reasonable steps to respect your privacy.

Payments and eligibility
Full payment is required at booking to secure your place on our events.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Our events are for women aged 21+ only. Photo ID may be required at events with age restrictions or alcohol service.

Inclusions of event prices 
Each event has a clear list of what’s included/what’s not included. Any items outside the stated inclusions of each event are at your own expense.

Events that involve set menus are indicative and may change. You must declare allergies or dietary requirements as early as reasonably possible; NOMA will use reasonable efforts to accommodate but cannot guarantee supplier compliance.

For events involving set menus, on-the-day upgrades may not be available, and will be at the venue’s discretion.

Venue and space
Where possible, NOMA reserves a women-only table/area within a wider venue for our events. Full venue exclusivity is not guaranteed and venues may be open to the public.

Behaviour and conduct
Respectful conduct at events is always expected toward other members, attendees, hosts, venue staff, and third parties.

Inappropriate, illicit, harassing, or bullying behaviour, or behaviour that endangers anyone, will result in removal from the event without refund and may result in removal from the app and termination of membership per the
Membership T&Cs.

Accessibility and additional needs
Please contact hello@nomaescapes.com before booking to discuss accessibility needs or dietary requirements so we can ensure the event/venue is suitable. We will always do our best to accommodate everyone’s requirements within venue/supplier constraints.

Physical activities 
By booking an event that includes any physical activity (e.g, walks, sauna usage, cold water dips, exercise, etc), you confirm you are in appropriate physical health to participate and you take part voluntarily and at your own risk.

NOMA is not liable for injury or damage arising from participation. You may opt out of any activity at any time.

Hosts (community volunteers)
Each event has a designated host. Except for Caitlin (NOMA Escapes Founder), our event hosts are volunteers and are not employees, agents, instructors, qualified guides, or specialists. Most have their own jobs outside NOMA Escapes.

Event hosts are there to facilitate group coordination and deliver a positive attendee experience; they do not provide professional, technical, safety, medical, or instructional services.

Please treat hosts with respect and follow their reasonable guidance during the event, bearing in mind they are volunteers and facilitators—not experts in the event activity.

Concerns about a host’s conduct or suitability should be reported promptly to hello@nomaescapes.com. NOMA reviews all reports, and may reassign or remove hosts at its discretion.

Liability
Participation at any event is voluntary and at your own risk. 
NOMA is not liable for accidents, injuries, losses, delays, or issues arising before, during, or after attendance, including actions/omissions of venues or third-party suppliers.

You remain responsible for your personal property at all times.

Changes and cancellations
All event tickets are non refundable/non transferable.

Communications
When booking events, you agree to monitor official NOMA communications (email and/or the community app) for event updates. Ensure your contact details are accurate and up to date. 

We are not responsible for any information/updates that are shared with you, that are missed due to not monitoring communication channels.

Governing law
These UK Event Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. You may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.
