NOMA Escapes App Membership Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (Terms) apply to all members of the NOMA Community App (hosted on Mighty Networks) and use of the NOMA App (App).
By joining as a member of the app, you agree to these Terms. Attendance at events/trips are subject to specific event/trip terms and conditions, found on our website nomaescapes.com and also within our community app. 

Eligibility
Membership is open to women aged 21 or over. No upper age limit. 
By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Membership & Payments
There are 4 membership options available to join our app: monthly, annual, travel‑only, and one‑time lifetime access.
All membership payments are non‑refundable, or transferable, including if you cancel before the end of your billing period.
Auto‑renewal: memberships renew automatically unless cancelled by you in advance.

How to cancel: go into your app > Account > Plan > Cancel. You are responsible for managing your subscription and cancelling before renewal.
Missed/late cancellations of your membership: charges will continue and cannot be refunded by NOMA.
Access on cancellation: if you cancel, App access ends at the close of your current billing period and your access is only reinstated if you renew, or upgrade your membership.

Upgrading membership - If you wish to upgrade your plan, please visit the “FAQ” section of the app. Any existing payments are not pro-rota’d if you choose to downgrade, or upgrade your membership to a lower/higher priced membership. 

Behaviour & Community Guidelines
Please see our “community guidelines” for an extensive list of our membership guidelines. 
NOMA is a safe, inclusive space for women. Members and hosts must treat others with kindness, respect, and support.
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any inappropriate / illegal behaviour is not tolerated.
Breaches of these standards may result in suspension or termination of membership at NOMA’s discretion, without notice or refund.

Events & Trips
All events and trips are subject to NOMA’s general T&Cs and any event/trip‑specific terms (see nomaescapes.com or the Welcome > membership T&Cs section of the App).
By booking an event or trip, you agree to the applicable additional event/trip booking terms.
Participation in events, meet‑ups, and trips is voluntary and at your own risk.
You are always responsible for your own safety & wellbeing. 
NOMA, its employees, or its voluntary hosts, is not liable for accidents, injuries, losses, or issues arising before, during, or after attendance.

Friendships & Community Use
The Membership provides a space for group chats, and events to support building friendships and connections.
Outcomes are not guaranteed; forming connections is each member’s personal responsibility.
Group chats may be quieter during transitions or growth phases. Members are encouraged to engage and contribute.

Platform & App
The App is provided by “Mighty Networks” and evolves over time. Features and functionality may change or improve as we grow. 
Downtime, updates, or bugs may occur occasionally. Feedback is welcome via the App FAQs or feel free to email us hello@nomaescapes.com.

Data & Privacy
Personal details are stored securely on Mighty Networks for communication and subscription purposes only.
We do not sell or pass on your details to third parties.
Where operationally necessary, your email and/or phone number may be shared with volunteer trip/event hosts solely for communications about the event or trip you have booked.

Termination
NOMA may suspend or terminate memberships at any time, without notice or refund, if these Terms or community standards are breached.
Membership may also be terminated where behaviour negatively impacts the community, hosts, or other members.

Liability
By joining and attending events, you accept responsibility for your own wellness, health, safety, fitness & participation.
NOMA, its founders, administrators, and volunteer trip/event hosts are not liable for disputes, damages, injuries, losses, or outcomes resulting from your membership, use of the App, or attendance at events.

Updates to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes to terms via the App or by email.
Continued use of the Membership after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
By purchasing or renewing your membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
