Marrakech, the heart of culture and colour — staying in traditional riads near the medina.
The Agafay Desert, a rocky golden oasis where we’ll sleep under the stars in traditional tents, watch the sunset, and ride camels at golden hour.
Day 1 – Rooftop Welcome Vibes
Arrive in Marrakech, check into your stylish Riad, and get to know the girls over a rooftop dinner with breathtaking views. Traditional dishes, dreamy views of the Atlas Mountains, and a whole lot of excitement for the week ahead.
Day 2 – Souks, Sights & Culture
We’ll explore the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square, Koutoubia Mosque, and hidden gems of the iconic medina. After lunch at a charming restaurant, wander through colourful souks and learn about Moroccan rituals and artisan crafts. Dinner? Another rooftop moment, overlooking the Red City.
Day 3 – Atlas Mountains Day Trip & Berber Culture
A magical day immersing ourselves in the breathtaking Atlas mountains!
Visit a traditional Berber village, meet local families, learn about their customs, crafts& daily routines, before hiking to a stunning waterfall!
Enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional Kasbah with breathtaking views. Pure Morocco magic!
Day 4 – Sunrise Ballooning & Cooking Class
Up early for an *optional* hot air balloon ride over the Agafay Desert — a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Or enjoy some downtime, or free time to do your own thing. Later, we’ll join a local family to cook Moroccan classics together. Expect flavour, laughter, an amazing authentic experience, and a big foodie highlight.
Day 5 – Blue Gardens & Desert Dreams
Start your day at the enchanting Majorelle Garden (aka the "Blue Garden" - cue those instagrammable moments!), then we’re off to the Agafay Desert.
Sunset camel ride, fire-lit dinner under the stars, live Berber music… and an overnight stay in a dreamy desert camp - this truly is one of life's "bucket list" moments!!
Day 6 – Chill Time in Marrakech
We’ll leave the desert & return to Marrakech in the morning, check back into your Riad, and the rest of the day is yours.
Shop the souks, chill at a spa, or simply wander and soak it all in.
Day 7 – Spa Day & Farewell Dinner
Begin the day at the legendary La Mamounia (yes, it’s as dreamy as you’ve seen on Instagram) where we will sip mint tea in its opulent gardens, followed by a traditional Hammam spa ritual & massage that will leave you glowing.
That evening, we’ll celebrate our week together with a gorgeous farewell dinner.
Day 8 – Home Time (With A Full Heart)
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the airport. It’s goodbye for now — but trust us, this won’t be your last NOMA escape 💛

Delicious! Moroccan food is rich in flavour — tagines, couscous, olives, mint tea. We cater for vegetarians/vegans too. Just let us know any allergy/special requirements when booking.
Expect sunny days around 20°C and cooler evenings (as low as 7°C). Light layers for the day, cosy knits/light jackets for the nights.
Your NOMA host is flying from Edinburgh the day before the trip starts & will meet you in Marrakech & will be on the below Glasgow flight home. The nearest airport is Marrakech (RAK). Flights aren’t included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Arabic and Berber are official, but French is common and English is widely spoken in tourist areas.
We recommend bottled water only — even for brushing your teeth.
Both! Cards work in hotels and restaurants, and most souks. But some smaller souks are cash only.
Respectfully modest in public (no short shorts or strapless tops in medinas). Swimwear is fine at pools and private hotel areas.
Yes – rooms are double, or twin-share. You’ll fill in a Roommate Questionnaire Form to help us match you with the perfect room. Want your own room? A few singles are available for an extra cost – message us before booking to check availability and pricing.
We stay in 3–4* female-vetted riads and hotels, plus one night in a desert camp. All clean, safe, and full of Moroccan charm. No hostels here girls.
Private transfers throughout with our own driver – no public transport needed.
Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). It’s a closed currency, so we’ll share advice on the best places to withdraw once you arrive. £GBP is also widely accepted.
We’ll share a full packing list via WhatsApp before the trip. Essentials include:

UK passport holders don’t need a visa. If you’re travelling from elsewhere, let us know and we’ll check for you.
* Valid passport ‘expiry date’ at least 3 months after the date you arrive.
* Make sure your passport is not damaged. The Moroccan authorities have denied entry to some travellers with damaged passports. You MUST get your passport stamped on arrival.
* Travel insurance (mandatory & must cover hot air balloon if doing this activity)
