Meeting time: 10.20am for a 10.30am start
🚆 If travelling by public transport: the meeting point is a 2-minute walk from Old Kilpatrick Train Station, with direct trains to/from Glasgow City Centre & beyond.
WHAT WE'RE DOING
We’re heading out for a hill walk to Loch Humphrey, a peaceful spot tucked into the Kilpatrick Hills with gorgeous views across Glasgow, the Clyde and the Erskine Bridge.
This walk is around just under 4 miles in total.
Expect a steady hill climb, some muddy/boggy sections (depending on weather), and beautiful views at the top. It’s a slow-paced, relaxed walk — we’ll take our time and anticipate approx 2 hours up and down, with no rush.
All fitness levels welcome, and feel free to bring a cuppa/a snack for the top!
Afterwards, we’ll head to the nearby village of Bowling (5 mins drive away) for optional coffee, food, or a wee celebratory treat together! ☕🍰
WHAT TO EXPECT
Distance: Short of 4 miles
Terrain: Hill walking with some muddy/boggy & steep sections
Difficulty: Moderate – not a race, we’ll go at a chilled pace
Duration: Approx 2 hours total, with breaks for views & photos
Highlights: Views over Glasgow, the River Clyde, the Erskine Bridge & surrounding peaks
This is a relaxed walk for all fitness levels and is focused on fresh air, movement, and meeting new girls in a supportive, fun vibe.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
❌ Food/drinks at Bowling not included – purchase whatever you fancy on the day
❌ Travel/parking not included (parking is free at time of typing, but please be mindful this can change within council areas)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
👟 Wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and clothing suitable for hill walking (layers recommended).
💨 Expect wind at higher elevations — pack accordingly.
🥤 Bring enough water & snacks — there are no facilities on the trail.
🚻 No toilets on the route.
⚠️ In the event of bad weather, the walk may be cancelled or altered at the host’s discretion.
This event is girls only, 18+.
